COMING FROM OVERSEASIf you're coming to Australia from overseas, chances are you're travelling by plane. That's fine, because Cairns has an international airport, the country's fifth busiest in fact, regularly handling over 100,000 travellers a month! The Cairns International Airport is serviced by some of the world's leading airlines, and of course our own Qantas, making it easy and affordable to fly direct to Cairns from almost anywhere in the world.
If you click on 'FLIGHT SCHEDULE' to the right, you can check the schedule of flights to Cairns from a city near you. Other airlines that fly to Cairns from abroad are Jetstar and Virgin Blue.
If your chosen airline doesn't fly directly to Cairns (airport code CNS), don't be discouraged. Most of the world's major airlines fly into either Sydney (SYD) and Brisbane (BNE), and a connecting flight from either of those cities to Cairns may be much less expensive than you think. Search for the best deals by using our Flight Finder above.
